Organised by the Turkish Maarif Foundation’s Kosova Country Representative, Maarif Kosova, in collaboration with the Prizren Traditional Archery Club, the 2nd Traditional Turkish Archery Tournament – 29 October Republic Cup celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye through sport, friendship, and cultural heritage.
Around 80 students from across Kosova gathered at our Prizren Campus on 27 October 2026 to compete in this special event. Our International Maarif Schools of Kosova students achieved two outstanding first-place victories:
The closing ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives, including Mehmet Nedim Aslan, TMV Kosova Country Representative; Fatih Topçu, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Prizren; Furkan Bütüç, Deputy Mayor of Prizren; Atdhe Luzhnica, President of the Kosova Archery Federation; and Nevron Skenderi, President of the Prizren Traditional Archery Club.
